ANVISA Orders the Recall and Suspension of Sale, Distribution, Production, and Use of Two Irregular Cosmetics
Published on December 11, 2025, the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) ordered the recall and suspension of the sale, distribution, production, advertising, and use of two cosmetics that were being sold illegally in the Brazilian market.
Among the products affected is Deo Colônia Amantikir, manufactured by Aon Indústria de Cosméticos Naturais Ltda. According to ANVISA, the item was only notified to the agency when it should have been registered, as it falls under a higher-risk category. Cosmetics deemed low-risk can only be notified, while higher-risk products require prior registration with the Agency.
Another product targeted in the action is Maquiagem Capilar Mavi Pang Pang Hair Shadow, of unknown origin, which was being marketed and sold without the necessary sanitary registration. ANVISA ordered the immediate seizure of the product and prohibited its manufacture, distribution, and use across the entire national territory.
These actions aim to protect consumers’ health and ensure that only regulated and safe products are available on the market.
The decision was published in Resolution RE No. 5.004, dated December 10, 2025, in the Official Federal Gazette (DOU), and can be consulted via the official link:
