Uma operação conjunta do ministério da agricultura e pecuária, no âmbito do programa vigifronteiras, com participação do instituto mineiro de agropecuária e da polícia civil de boa esperança (mg), ocorreu em 3 e 4 de fevereiro de 2026 para desarticular um esquema clandestino ligado à entrada irregular, ao fracionamento, à manipulação e à venda de agrotóxicos. A ação contou com apoio de estruturas de inteligência e de um laboratório federal, que atuaram na verificação técnica e no suporte às equipes de fiscalização.
Durante a operação, foram apreendidas cerca de 17 toneladas de agrotóxicos e fertilizantes em situação irregular, além de itens sem identificação e produtos com divergências entre rótulos em língua estrangeira e a tradução aplicada, indicando tentativa de burlar exigências de importação. As equipes também constataram comercialização sem requisitos mínimos, como receituário agronômico e bula, com indícios de substâncias de uso restrito no país; o prejuízo estimado com as apreensões ultrapassa 3 milhões de reais, e os responsáveis foram encaminhados à delegacia para os procedimentos cabíveis.
A joint operation led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, as part of the Vigifronteiras program, with the participation of the Minas Gerais State Agricultural Institute and the Civil Police of Boa Esperança (MG), took place on February 3-4, 2026, aiming to dismantle a clandestine scheme involved in the illegal entry, repackaging, manipulation, and sale of pesticides. The operation was supported by intelligence structures and a federal laboratory, which provided technical verification and support to the inspection teams.
During the operation, approximately 17 tons of irregular pesticides and fertilizers were seized, along with items lacking identification and products with discrepancies between foreign language labels and their translations, suggesting attempts to bypass import regulations. The teams also found products being marketed without essential requirements, such as agronomic prescriptions and product leaflets, with indications of restricted substances being used in the country. The estimated financial loss from the seizures exceeds 3 million reais, and the individuals responsible were taken to the police station for the necessary legal procedures.
